What is SofraPiwas?
SofraPiwas is a restaurant platform for QR menus, online ordering, reservations, loyalty and staff order workflows. A companion app can connect compatible network ESC/POS printers. Modules and hardware depend on each restaurant's setup. RUMI in Geneva is our reference restaurant.
How much does SofraPiwas cost?
Choose your modules, guest languages, look and currency in the plan builder to see your monthly EUR price before applicable VAT. No card is needed to request an account. Your subscription starts only when you start it from your dashboard.
Can my guests pay online — including TWINT?
Online payments is an optional module. The plan builder offers €19/month flat, or €9/month plus 1.5% of each online order. VAT may apply. Supported payment methods and activation depend on your market and Stripe setup; ask us to confirm availability before you rely on a specific method. TWINT is not currently confirmed as available, so ask us before relying on it.
Which languages does the SofraPiwas guest interface support?
The guest interface offers ten language options: English, French, German, Dutch, Italian, Spanish, Turkish, Arabic, Russian and Chinese. Menu content is translated only where a restaurant has published that language version, so check catalogue coverage before enabling a language.
Can SofraPiwas connect to my kitchen printer?
The companion app supports network ESC/POS printers on Windows and Android. Confirm your printer model, network and physical setup during onboarding before relying on printed kitchen tickets.
Who is behind SofraPiwas, and is it actually used anywhere?
SofraPiwas is built by a small team based in the Netherlands. RUMI is our Geneva reference restaurant; its public menu and table-reservation pages run on SofraPiwas. Staff workflows, printer hardware and menu translation coverage should be checked for each restaurant setup. We onboard new restaurants personally.
Can I use my own domain name?
Yes. Every restaurant gets a free sofra subdomain, and you can connect a domain you already own — or we register a brand-new one for you during setup.
